AAT Steel Hungary

BT-Systems' innovative subsidiary in Hungary

Four and a half hours by car from the BT-Systems headquarters in Ludersdorf is Pécsvárad, a town at the foot of the beautiful mountains in the south of Hungary. AAT Steel Hungary Kft, a subsidiary of BT-Systems, is located there. Like the AAT competence center in Lichtenwörth, the subsidiary in Hungary specialises in conventional conveyor technology and customised special designs. Both branches work hand in hand and are able to realise projects together efficiently, quickly and economically.

Conveyor systems for all production areas of the automotive industry, including body construction, painting and final assembly, are an important sales market for AAT Steel Hungary. The range is rounded off by systems for the metal industry, intralogistics and various suppliers. AAT Steel Hungary is also involved in the production of the market-leading range of industrial process freezers such as the BoxFreezer, a technology developed by AAT for blast freezing or chilling food in cartons or boxes. The Small BoxFreezer can even shock freeze up to 2 tonnes per hour.

AAT Steel Hungary became part of BT-Systems together with AAT GmbH at the end of the previous year. The wide range of activities results in many synergies with the other BT-Systems competence centers in the areas of mechanical engineering, production and assembling of complete systems. As a result of the integration, this year saw the start of some beautification work in the outdoor area to attract workers from the surrounding area to our company, the completion of which was celebrated with a joint barbecue in July 2024. The newly set stone wall, the renovated terrace, the new reception area and the freshly painted fences and gates were the perfect excuse to come together, exchange ideas and strengthen cohesion.
