This year's "Schnapsen" Card Game Tournament at BT-Systems was once again an exciting event in which numerous talented card players from different areas of the company competed against each other. From the specialists in PLC programming, production and technology to sales and E-planning through to management and purchasing - everyone was represented and brought their skills to the table. Manuel Hochenegger, Senior Software Developer at the ECE-LOG competence centre, used clever tactics and a little luck to secure victory in the thrilling final. He can now proudly call the imposing, 60 cm tall Tournament Cup his own for a year. The excellent second and third places went to Katrin Adelmann and Josef Wagner.
In addition to the coveted Tournament Cup, there were numerous attractive prizes for the participants, including accommodation and shopping vouchers, a weekend in a sports or luxury car of their choice, experience and wellness vouchers, tool sets and much more. These prizes were sponsored by renowned companies such as Dallmayr, Roger, SHT, Comstruct, Sixt, Siemens, Rittal, ACP, Hadolt Global Express, Gogatec, Kellner & Kunz, Phoenix, Rexel, murrplastik, Spiral, Niedax and many others and provided additional motivation and enthusiasm. The spectators did not go away empty-handed either: After the competition, there was a raffle for three fantastic prizes, and the event was rounded off with seasonal delicacies such as roasted chestnuts and Himbeersturm (young wine still in fermentation with raspberry flavour). As every year, savoury sausages were generously sponsored by the Lapp company.
